Our mascot

  • The idea came from the body of “cougar”, the department’s high performance chemical fire engine. The dark, tough helmet highlights the fearless performance in disaster rescue. The unique extendable boom and piercing probe signify the swift and agile talons of cougar.
  • The bright red and yellow scheme on the vehicle body is the center of the theme accompanying the powerful water jet shooting from the extractable turret on the chest, the strongest line of defense of firefighters protecting people’s lives and properties.
  • The extended arms signify the speed and power of the Department’s firefighters in disaster rescue, a symbol of energy and vitality.
